The aim of session
The aim of this session is to raise an interdisciplinary dialogue between experimentalists working with various intrumental and microscopic techniques, and modellers using different theoretical computational approaches, to gain fundamental insights into properties and functions of biogeochemical interfaces in soil (BGIs) in soils.
Together we would like to discuss how the combined application of these two complementary scientific fields can be used to mechanistically understand BGIs in soils and their functions.
