BESAFE project featured in International Innovation
The EU-funded BESAFE project - which involves several ALTER-Net member organisations - is described in December's issue of International Innovation.
BESAFE (Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services: Arguments for Our Future Environment) aims to consider the contribution that ecosystem services and other types of argumnents can make in demonstrating the importance of biodiversity. The results will be used to produce a framework that will give guidance on the effectiveness of alternative arguments and protection strategies in various contexts. It is funded under the EU's 7th Framework Programme and is coordinated by Alterra.
